It's also a way to showcase some fellow stockers, so don't forget to scroll down for some stock art gems as well!
Please Note:
I try hard to keep up with my message center, but mostly, I'm buried. So I try to answer any questions asked (sometimes it'll take me a while, please be patient!) and I look at and fave all artwork made with my stock. I also try to leave comments now and again, but mostly, I'll just fave and run - please don't take that personally! I rather put up some new stock than copy-pasta some generic thank you message, I think you'll be in favour of that.
I haven't done one of these in far too long - so this is going to be a massive feature!

UPDATE: READ THIS NOW! Credit Your Precuts!

Update:
I have removed OVER HALF OF THE IMAGES IN THE PRE-CUT FOLDER! This shouldn't come as a surprise to you if your images were removed. I don't mean this as a slight or insult, and I still adore you. However, you've all had fair warning for a few weeks now that this would be happening. If you want to go back and credit the images that were removed, you are more than welcome to resubmit them. The pre-cut gallery should now be up to

standards, and it is going to stay that way. All pre-cut submissions must be properly credited and from your own resources, or from another legitimate resource with written permission. Pre-cuts that are not credited or from retail sites/google images will be declined from now on. If you missed the original blog on the subject, keep reading below.

Becoming a Verified Safe Stock Resource ProviderEarlier we brought up the importance of providing valid and safe resources as stock providers. We are the front lines, so to speak, on ensuring the quality and validity of our resources. We mentioned in our last blog (which you can read below) about a way to become verified safe stock providers. There was a lot of positive feedback on the idea. The question was how to prevent those who would abuse a stamp from using it.
~hyenacub-stock suggested creating an alternate group that only certain members can join as a method for preventing the "posers." *EveLivesey suggested the name "Safe Stock" for the project. So, by combining the two ideas, we now have a sister group called #Safe-Stock-Resources. I've spent some time this evening fleshing out the group page, and I believe that it's a good start.

Stock reminderI have 134 notes in my inbox.
In the first 15, there were 4 images that I thought could be DDs.
(This is highly unusual; usually it is more like 1 in 10 or 20. I can't wait to see the others!)
NONE OF THESE FOUR credited their stock.
Therefore, NONE OF THEM got DDs.
I understand that people don't feel the need to credit stock that was purchased or stock that is otherwise their own. However, unless they LET ME KNOW that the stock is legitimate (e.g. by saying "All stock mine" or "Stock purchased from Fotolia") then I don't know that it's okay and I am hesitant to give them a DD. I know people say, "I shouldn't be guilty until proven innocent!" I agree, but the truth is that a lot of people use Google images or celebrity images in their manipulations, and we have to have some way to distinguish.
Don't want to direct link? That's absolutely fine; don't. But please just give me some sign. Smoke signals perhaps?

DD Feature, A Word About Pre-Cuts, and SkypeHiya Darlings,
So here is the promised feature of our group members who have received a DD so far this year! I’d like to say congratulations to everyone! For those who haven’t received one yet, don’t give up hope! Everyone submits some fantastic stock and I absolutely love seeing the daily submissions. I’d also like to take a moment and welcome all of our new members!
Before we get to the feature I want to take a moment and talk about Pre-Cut Stocks. Like any stock, they should adhere to our group and

rules. This means:

They must be your own work, or have written permission from the photographer to create them from.

You absolutely, under no circumstances, ever take photos from GOOGLE IMAGE or other online retail, blogs, photography, or other websites to create pre-cut stock. The same includes stock websites like sxc.hu. This also applies to ALL pre-made backgrounds or Photoshop/GIMP brushes!
