I want to introduce to you createbyweek

what is create by week?
Every Sunday pendlestock and UnicornReality give you a stock image - what you do with that is up to you! They accept any visual art mediums that either reference or manipulate the image - this does include photography, though obviously sometimes you have to work a little harder
You have a week to get your entries in and then a three day poll will be made and the community chooses the winner.

and now createbyweek is holding their "centenary contest":
100 years ago, in 1909, British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton discovered the south magnetic pole. For this reason, the theme of our centenary contest is ANTARCTICA

YOU MUST USE AT LEAST TWO OF THE FOLLOWING SIX IMAGES IN YOUR SUBMISSION

Mediums Allowed: Anything that directly uses the images or references them. This includes Traditional and Digital painting, drawing and sculpture/3d modelling, photomanipulation or any combination of those.

You can enter up to 5 individual artworks.

NOTE them your entries with the title CENTENARY CONTEST, and link us to your entry.

End date: Wednesday June 10th 7pm UK time.
